2 Ball Rules - Explained

Welcome to 2 Ball, a fast-paced, high-stakes team shooting game that blends the precision of Around the World with the energy of 2-on-2 competition. Whether you're out here being petty, deadly, or just trying to earn your stripes (and the belt), here's how it all goes down:

🎯 Objective

Be the first team to complete a full shooting circuit around the three-point arc—from corner to corner, and back—following a specific shot pattern.

👥 Teams

2, 3, or 4 players per game (2 teams total).

Each team starts in opposite corners of the court behind the three-point line.

🔄 Gameplay Breakdown

  • Start in the Corner (Home Base)
First shooter must hit two consecutive 3-pointers from the corner. Miss? Next teammate shoots from the same spot. After two in a row, advance.
  • Advance to the Arc
One made shot from each spot: Wing 45°, Top of the Key, Opposite Wing 45°. Miss? Teammate takes over from that spot.
  • Corner Two Challenge
At the opposite corner, hit two consecutive 3-pointers to move on.
  • Return Circuit
Make one shot each from Opposite Wing 45°, Top of the Key, Original Wing 45°.
  • Home Corner Finish
Back to the original corner — hit two consecutive shots to win.

🏆 Winning

First team to complete the full cycle corner-to-corner and back wins. Games are usually played in sets — first to win 5 or 10 games.

🎖️ Special Rule – The Belt

If one player goes all the way around and back — 12 consecutive made shots — without missing, they earn The Belt. That’s instant legend status.
