Good morning, all you 2-Ball fans. LA Fitness Royal delivered a wild one today a true mixed bag of hoops, drama, and petty storylines. The match opened with Jordy, Ahmad, and Dill the self-proclaimed “Flame Throwers” up against the people’s champs: yours truly, Pops, and Smalls (fresh off his Uncle Alert clearance, all well, and already back to his usual shenanigans). Early fireworks: Kawhi strolled in fashionably late, but Jordy and his crew didn’t notice him they torched us 10-4 in the first set. Buckets everywhere. Confidence sky high. Ahmad was basically auditioning for a “Who Needs the Splash Brothers?” documentary. But then… plot twist. Pops joined Jordys crew Ahmad dipped to the weight room, and apparently he took his team’s jumper with him. No lie 2nd set they couldn’t buy a basket if the cashier gave them a discount. Final? 5-1 beatdown courtesy of the Good Guys. Some say they saw Jordy outside talking to Ahmad, who was holding a suspicious box labeled “Jump Shot.” I’ll let you decide. A proud moment for rich when Jordy blew up his closing shot you could see the disappointment and proudness at the same time!!! Final set was a nail-biter. We led 3-2, but under time constraints we played one last game. Jordy and the gang somehow got Ahmad’s jumper on loan and stole the set 3-3. Which means… today ends in chaos: 1 Win. 1 Loss. 1 Tie. So the official record for the day: 1-1-1 = Confusion. Smalls’ Uncle Alert? Cleared. The man is safe, sound, and back with a fresh bag of shenanigans.
